Located 130km south of Hanoi in Ninh Binh province, Cuc Phuong National Park is an important nature reserve and ecosystem with peaks of over 600 Meters and valleys of subtropical rainforest. The park is home to more than 300 bird species. It is a very good place to do a side trip from Hanoi for Bird Watching. There are abundant opportunities to spot wildlife while you are in the forests of the national park.

Tour's Program

Morning drive to Cuc Phuong National Park 130km south of Hanoi. You'll visit the Endangered Primate Rescue Centre. After check in the Guest House inside the park, you'll have lunch.
In the afternoon, we observe the birds gathering in the Botanical Garden and in the lush rain forest. Overnight in the park.
Today, you'll spend for bird watching. We'll drive 20km through the rain forest to the Bong Station,then follow a circular route viewing a variety of endangered bird species. The 6-km trail passes through a wood of giant trees, some of which are over 1000 years old. We return to the guesthouse in late afternoon. After dinner, you'll be free for relaxing. Overnight inside the park.
Rising this morning with the sounds of the forest all around us, we head out for a trek through the lush rainforest that makes up the park. The trek will take in stops at centuries old giant trees. Picnic lunch in the park before we reach out the Muong minority people village. During the 15 km trekking, view the wide variety of preserved bird species in the park and enjoy the sights and sounds of the jungle. Dinner and overnight at local home stay of Muong people.
After breakfast, we drive to Van Long. Take the tiny bamboo boat to visit the “preserving nature area” with Karst landscape and land under the water. After lunch in restaurant, we'll drive back to Hanoi.
