The UNESCO World Heritage town of Hue in central Vietnam is a must see destination. Hue is the former imperial capital of Vietnam and its mesmerizing tombs and mausoleums of the last emperors of Vietnam reveal fascinating insights into the lives of the imperial families and their subjects. Modern Hue is a delightful city of wide boulevards and period buildings set in a picture-postcard landscape. The local university is renowned as one of the country’s finest and the local cuisine is regarded by many as the best in Vietnam.

Tour's Program

Arrive in Hue, you'll be picked up and transferred to hotel. The rest of the day will be your own. Overnight in Hue.

After breakfast, you'll visit the Imperial Citadel where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945. After exploring the ruins of this wonderful monument take a cyclo through the ‘Old City’ to Tinh Tam Lake where the Emperors used to come to relax, full of lotus flowers in summer there are many local style coffee shops around the lake where university students come to study.
Drive onto Thien Mu Pagoda, constructed in 1601, the 21-meter tall tower is the centerpiece of the pagoda. From here depart for the Mausoleum of Minh Mang and Khai Dinh’s Tomb. Overnight in Hue.
